Read the instructions carefully and ensure you understand all aspects.
Ensure all spectators are situated at the desired safety distances as outlined on the firework instructions.
Determine the top of the firework, to ensure the firework is correctly positioned during its setup.
Locate the position of the fuse and any bury lines which maybe indicated on the firework.
Setup the firework in accordance with the instruction.
- If you are asked to bury the firework bury. Bury it to the height of the bury line or to a height which the Roman candle will not fall over (whichever is the greater height).
When setting up the firework, ensure there are no overhead obstructions or any tall buildings, trees or similar nearby.
Only once the firework has been correctly setup, remove orange fuse cover if any.
Standing sideways, light fuse at its outermost end and retire immediately to the recommended distance.
